Support for Vigliotta | Letter

I am writing to express my strong support for Mark Vigliotta in the race for Maine Senate District 33, covering Sanford, Waterboro, Lebanon, and Alfred. Mark’s entire career has been about fighting for his co-workers to have better wages and benefits. Now he is ready to fight for Senate District 33.

As a Clean Election campaigner, Mark is out there meeting with and listening to district residents as they describe struggles with access to healthcare, affordable housing and childcare. His opponent recently posted the misleading statement that Mark “has taken hard-earned tax dollars”. The truth is that Mark is earning clean election donations one at a time as he meets with constituents. Mark refuses to “take” corporate PAC or special interest money as his interest and dedication is with the people of our district. The Clean Election system is what allows experienced and qualified people who want to serve the opportunity to campaign for election.

Mark raised his family in less stressful economic times, and he will work to help bring back opportunity and affordability. His experience in representing over 5000 workers, negotiating and delivering for them is exactly what we need in a State Senator.
