With family across the district, including a daughter in Waterboro, Mark isn't just running to represent District 33. He's running for his neighbors.Over 15 years, Mark has held nearly every position of trust his fellow workers could give him, rising from Shop Steward all the way to President of the Maine State Council of Machinists, representing over 5,000 workers across the region. More people from Sanford work at Portsmouth Naval Shipyard than any other city or town in Maine or New Hampshire. Mark knows their needs because he's represented them for years. Now he wants to represent District 33 in Augusta.Mark comes from a long line of union members. His grandfather earned his lifetime Laborers' Union card in 1924. His father worked at General Electric in Lynn. His mother was a union member too. That legacy of dignity and hard work is the foundation of everything Mark believes in.His agenda is straightforward: higher-paying jobs and better benefits, a fairer tax code, lower energy costs, and real affordability for working and middle-class families.
